Moderation
Anonymized Moderators (AnonMod)
When enabled in Settings → General → Anonymized Moderators, moderator replies to reports and ban appeals are shown to non-moderators under a randomly assigned fake name and avatar, so players cannot link a reply back to a specific staff member.
- Each moderator gets a unique persona (name + avatar) per issue, and each issue gets its own independently assigned set. A moderator keeps the same persona across every reply they make within a single report or ban appeal.
- Only moderator-authored replies are anonymized; the report author and the player they reported (or the banned player on an appeal) always appear under their real identity.
- Moderators and admins see the real author as usual, with the assigned persona displayed next to it for reference.
- Anonymization is view-side only: messages, logs, and notifications always retain the real author. In-game and Discord behaviour are unaffected.
- Disabling the toggle stops further anonymization; messages already posted are never rewritten and display their real author again.
